We envision a world in which young people, regardless of circumstances, can fulfill their potential and lead their families and communities to thrive.

Today, Summer Search Seattle serves nearly 550 young people of color from South King County. Starting in high school, our program is a 7+ year commitment designed to empower participants to overcome societal obstacles. Our participants are supported through mentorship, summer experiences, and post-secondary, career, and financial guidance. Participants fully step into their personal power and successfully make their way to thriving adulthood.

The past year has been unlike any other and we need your support more than ever. The young people and families we serve were disproportionately affected by the health, economic, educational, and social impacts of the crises we have all faced. We adapted to serve our participants regardless of uncertainty and countless challenges. We provided emergency aid to ensure their path to thriving adulthood is not permanently disrupted.

Your contribution is essential for us to remain a steadfast support for our participants and their families - and enables us to continue to fight for a world where all young people can thrive.

ALL IN FOR SUMMER SEARCH

While we are unable to host our annual fundraiser for the second year in a row, our programming remains critical. To continue our work as a trusted partner for our young people this year, it is critical that we meet our fundraising goal of $500,000. We will miss seeing the beautiful faces of our community in person this spring, but we have created a series of virtual opportunities to engage with our participants, staff, and fellow supporters throughout the month of April. Please join us!
